Copper is on a mission to replace dirty, gas-fired appliances with clean, electric alternatives. Our first product is Charlie—a full-size induction stove with a radical twist: it plugs into a standard 120V outlet so no electrical work is needed to upgrade from gas.

Induction cooking demands short bursts of high power. Charlie meets that need with a built-in battery, charging intelligently when renewable energy is available and delivering serious heat when you’re ready to cook. It even keeps you cooking during outages, with enough stored energy for 3–5 meals off-grid.

As Principal Designer and Product Lead at Copper, I’ve led the development of every outward-facing experience—from industrial design and feature definition to the brand identity (with help from my friends at Some Days), website, and mobile app. Charlie isn’t just a cleaner stove, it’s more precise and enjoyable to use.
